Buffalo Chickpea Salad Sandwich

This vegan sandwich recipe is spicy + filling + delicious! And oil-free.

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup reserved chickpea juice from can
  • 1-3 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 stalk of celery chopped


  • Pulse all ingredients in a blender until well-incorporated and broken down, but not totally mushy. You still want some texture in there!
  • Mix in chopped celery.
  • Top with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, etc.
