Easy Hummus

Simple, vegan hummus made with aquafaba instead of olive oil. Oil-free and gluten-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas drained, liquid (aquafaba) reserved
  • 1/4 cup aquafaba* or more as needed
  • 3-4 small cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, blend all ingredients until smooth and fluffy. This can take a few minutes. Add more salt to taste. If hummus isn't coming together, add a little more aquafaba. 
  • Store in the fridge for 4-5 days.

Notes

*Aquafaba is the reserved liquid from the chickpea can.
