Vegan Iced Coffee
Overnight cold brew method for vegan iced coffee.
ice or frozen coffee cubes
vegan milk or creamer of choice
Vanilla Syrup for Vanilla Iced Coffee
Chocolate Syrup for an Iced Mocha
In a large jar or container, shake together the coffee grounds and water.
Let sit overnight in the fridge.
Strain out the coffee grounds by using a fine mesh strainer, coffee filter, or a cheesecloth.
Prep your flavor syrup of choice.
Assemble your iced coffee! Add ice, coffee, syrup, and vegan milk of choice. Sip away! Consider using a
instead of a plastic one.
On medium heat, bring the water and sugar to a boil in a small pot. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove the heat.
Stir in the vanilla extract and let cool completely.
Store in the fridge for up to 1-2 weeks.
In a small pot, warm the maple syrup on low heat. Once warm, whisk in the cocoa powder until fully dissolved.
Remove from heat and store in the fridge for up to 1-2 weeks.
For a dark, rich coffee I recommend using french roast. My favorite is Newman's Own French Roast.
TIP: Freeze coffee into ice cube molds to keep your coffee strong!
