Easy Vegan Ranch Dressing
If you have never made homemade ranch, oh my gosh, go to your kitchen RIGHT NOW and make this. Nom nom. You’ll never buy store bought again. So tasty, plus the ingredients are so much better.
Some store-bought vegan ranch dressings taste…odd. Let’s be real. This recipe tastes just like the real thing. Nope, I’m not a dressing magician or anything. I use Just Mayo in my ranch recipe which tastes like a traditional mayo that is made with eggs. Just Mayo, however, contains only plant-based ingredients (check them out here).
No, they didn’t pay me to write this (I WISH haha). I really just love it THAT MUCH. Other vegan mayos I haven’t tried just do not compare. And you definitely need a superb mayo to make a superb ranch.
Of course, if you prefer a different type of vegan mayo – use that one!
I have tried making vegan ranch with cashews. And while delicious, it just doesn’t hit the spot for me when I want that perfect ranch taste like vegan mayo does.
And of course, we need to talk about the seasonings. This recipe has classic ranch seasonings: parsley, dill, pepper, salt, onion, and garlic. And one spice that takes it to the next level: paprika! Once I tried ranch with paprika, I can’t make it without it. Necessary in my book. Adds a delicious element of “oomph”.
This dressing can also work as a vegan ranch dip for veggies…or homemade fries. Yummy!
My favorite ways to use it? On salads, of course, and on top of veggie burgers! My son loves to dip pretty much any and everything in it. I wanna know how you use it! Snap a photo and tag me @karissasvegankitchen on Instagram!

Easy Vegan Ranch Dressing
Dairy-free/soy-free/nut-free/gluten-free/egg-free vegan ranch recipe!
Mix together all ingredients in a bowl.
If mixture is too thick for your preference, add a little more milk.
Store in a jar in the fridge. The flavors will really come through after about 4 hours, but it's still delicious before then.
This will store for at least a week (as long as the milk and mayo you use does not expire before then.)
*I personally prefer Just Mayo, but use your favorite vegan mayo!
